Moving from the Inside

with Gena Rho

Saturday September 13, 2025

11-12:30pm EDT, 8-9:30am PT

If you’ve ever felt the need to hold yourself together or brace for emotional or physical impact—fantastic. This impulse reveals your body’s capacity to protect, adapt, and survive. But when bracing becomes chronic, it limits our movement, disrupts our sleep, and narrows our emotional range. It blocks the natural flow of life through us—and our access to who we truly are.

In this somatic movement workshop, we’ll gently explore how to release habitual tension through the art of pandiculation and play. With curiosity, we’ll explore the early developmental patterns of crawling and weight-shifting, reconnecting with gravity, breath, and the body's innate wisdom.

Somatic Movement and Postural Restructuring

with Kristin Jackson

Saturday May 3, 2025

9:30-11 am EDT

Pro-active Postural Restructuring is a somatic learning method to address anatomical imbalances and altered movement patterns with special attention to the lower body (pelvis, hips, legs, ankles, and feet). Benefits include better posture, smoother and steadier gait, diminished back, hip and foot pain, sculpted hips, legs, ankles, and feet. It is a great compliment to your Hanna Somatics practice. The moves look simple, but get ready to challenge your brain and body in this class. For class you will need a chair and floor space. Best to be OFF a sticky mat. Or fold it in half for your torso and have your legs on a surface on which you can slide your feet/legs.

Proactive Postural Restructuring was developed by Linda-Christy Weiler and blends a variety of somatic methods. She has a MS in Somatic Studies and BA in Psychology.

Grounding

Connecting the Feet, legs and pelvic floor

with Gena Rho

Saturday October 11, 2025

11-12:30 EDT, 8-9:30am PT

From the bottom up, we'll explore the foundational support of your body through a somatic lens. In this workshop, we’ll gently awaken awareness in the feet, legs, and pelvic floor—restoring their connection as a unified support system.

Through guided movement, breath, and sensory exploration, you’ll deepen your relationship with gravity, stability, and internal strength. Reconnect to your ground, restore balance, and move with greater ease from the inside out.
